- La phrase est composée de 2 propositions:

1.             Proposition principale  avec sujet nom/ pps + verbe conjugué
   

2.             Proposition subordonnée infinitive avec sujet /nom ou pronom personnel complément + TO + BV
   

1. -Chacune des 2 propositions peut comporter une négation.

        They             invited               us                  to               come             to the party.

            I                 advise               you              not to          buy                this book.
