ON JANUARY THE FIRST

New Year’s day is celebrated on the 1st of January,

and people have parties during the night from December 31st to January 1st.

It is celebrated all over the world.

In Scotland, it is called “ Hogmanay” and it is the biggest party of the year.

At midnight everyone hold hands and sing: “ AULD LANG SYNE”
