Au présent, en anglais, nous disposons de 2 verbes pour traduire le verbe  AVOIR et la possession:

- HAVE :  USA / langage soutenu

- HAVE GOT : GB /langage courant

                                    AU PRESENT

I. HAVE GOT

“ How many brothers and sisters have you got?”

“ I have got one brother but I haven’t got any sister”

Forme affirmative    :  I have got

Forme négative       :     I haven’t got

Forme interrogative  :    Have you got?

Attention à la 3ème personne du singulier :

Forme affirmative   :    He has got

Forme négative       :    He hasn’t got

Forme interrogative  :    Has he got?

II. HAVE

“How many brothers and sisters do you have?”

“ I have one brother but I don’t have any sister”

Forme affirmative    :  I have

Forme négative      :  I don’t have

Forme interrogative :  Do you have?

Attention à la 3ème personne du singulier :

Forme affirmative    :  He has

Forme négative      :  He doesn’t have

Forme interrogative :  Does he have?
