Hallowe’en is celebrated on October 31st, 

the night before All Saints Day,

the ghosts of the dead play tricks on the living...

It was originally a Celtic celebration of the Druid New Year.

Now it is celebrated all over the world: people tell ghost stories, wear

scary costumes and  eat lots of sweets!
